Come down and get sandy for the 2013 Coffin Island Sand Sculpting Contest on Sunday April 14, 2013. Contest will begin at 12:00 pm in front of the Tides hotel on Folly Beach. Any kind of sand sculpture will be allowed. There will be 2 age groups, Family (groups of up to 6) and Open (groups of up to 4), and prizes will be awarded in each group. The judging criteria will be based on Most Original, Most Folly-themed, and Best Overall. Judging will be held at 3:00. Please register below so we can have a good estimate of space needed.
Pay $10 proceeds go to Folly Beach Parks and Recreation Department to help build and maintain playgrounds and recreational facilities on Folly Beach.
